Last night at the Covent Garden Hotel Laura Santtini presented one of her favourite films, Waitress to a crowd of film and food lovers eager to know Laura’s thoughts about flavour and feeling.
After a screening of the film and a chat with Laura, everyone enjoyed a deliciously tasty menu created by Laura and the team at Brasserie Max at the Covent Garden Hotel. I’m told the ‘chauvinistic’ pig and sweet potato was divine and the ‘wishing on a chocolate moon pie’ sounds like the dessert of dreams!
Last night was the second evening of film/food entertainment, following Bill Granger‘s presentation of Eat Drink, Man Woman at The Soho Hotel on Wednesday evening.
