Mugabe and The White African

As an aside from our usual posts of foodie chat, I wanted to add a little note encouraging all to watch an exceptional documentary: Mugabe and The White African directed by Lucy Bailey.

It was broadcast on terrestrial TV in the UK last year but I missed it. I wish someone had chained me to my seat and demanded “WATCH THIS”. Now that I have, I am better informed, horrified and fearful.

It is an exceptional film, thoroughly gripping, and a desperate story (click on link below for details) which harks of an era the sane and humane hoped was dead and buried. It’s one-sided but nonetheless an extremely valuable record.
