We’ve just found out that Spoon favourites- The Young Turks have teamed up with John Twomey of the Ten Bells at Spitalfields and will be opening a “semi-permanent” restaurant next week.
After wowing London food fans for the past year, the group have decided to take up semi permanent residence (a three month run which we’re hoping will run & run) with the aim of cementing their already glowing reputations and making a mark on the London restaurant scene.
The restaurant opens on Tuesday 1st November, serving dinner from Tuesday and Saturday every week. There will be one four course menu at £39 per person, which comes with a cocktail courtesy of Hendrick’s and some snacks. There will also be a frequently changing, small wine list.
The dishes which they have planned for the menu sound as usual, nothing less than sublime. Chestnut mousse, pear and honey granita and Sika Deer shoulder, celeriac & apple are some gems on the list.
