With a few precious hours digestion time under our already bulging belts we – that is Mark Best of Marque, his friends, business partners and yours truly SpoonHQ – reconvened at Agapee Substance for dinner. We followed our sublime 15 course lunch by a more challenging 19 course dinner.
Challenging and slightly uncomfortable. The communal bench stretches through the desperately narrow restaurant becoming the pass and major kitchen work surface. Elbow to elbow with your fellow diners it’s luck of the draw who you sit next to and whether you / they share the same desire to communicate. I was lucky.
