There has been a flurry of very exciting Modernist Cuisine press from the US over the past few days. Here’s a quick round up of two highlights:
Food journalist John Mariani mentioned the book on his Eat Like a Man food and drink blog on Esquire magazine’s website in an article titled Is Cooking Ever An Art? Mariani talks of other heavy weight cooking encyclopedias and whether we can also see these as works of art. The full article can be read here.
NY Times journalist Melissa Clark recently hosted a dinner party at her home with the menu based entirely on recipes from Modernist Cuisine. A gallery of images of the meal can be seen here.
