Massimo Bottura will be one of 12 chefs participating at the IDENTITA New York chef congress from the 12th to the 14th of October. The event consists of six of the best Italian chefs teaming up with 6 of New York’s finest for a series of cooking demonstrations and two five-course dinners at Eataly’s La Scuola Grande and Birreria.
In the hour-long demonstration, Massimo Bottura will be partnering with the legendary Alain Ducasse. The relationship between the two dates back to 1992 when Alain invited Massimo to join him for few a months at Louis XV–Alain Ducasse in Monaco. Since then their relationship has remained so strong that in 2010, Chef Ducasse proclaimed Massimo Bottura to be one of the best chefs in the world. We can’t even imagine what these two culinary masters can create together!
Massimo will be also cooking the meat course at a 5 course dinner at Birreria on Friday the 12th of October.
Other chefs participating at the event include Mario Batali, Michael White, Cesare Casella, Anita Lo, George Mendes, Mauro Uliassi, Davide Scabin, Antonio Guida, Francesco Apreda and Pino Lavarra.
IDENTITA New York is organised by the Italian culinary organisation, Identita’ Golose, and the largest artisanal Italian food and wine marketplace in the world, Eataly. It will take place in New York from Friday, October 12th to Sunday, October 14th at Eataly.
