Le Diner des Producteurs- Come to Italy With Me

Later this month, Massimo Bottura is taking part in the 6th annual Le Diner des Producteurs which each year highlights the cuisine of a world-renowned chef and work of a well respected wine producer. This year is themed ‘Come to Italy with Me’ and will showcase some of Massimo’s most talked about dishes, complimented by the wines of Poderi Aldo Conterno, represented by Franco Conterno. Normand Laprise co-owner of Montreal Toque! restaurant will act as host cook.

The dinner, held in Montreal and sponsored by Moet & Chandon Champagne is being held to benefit the Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation which supports scientific research on Autosomal Recessive Spastic Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay (ARSACS).

ARSACS is a hereditary and progressive childhood neurological disorder. Symptoms generally appear in children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old and progress throughout adolescence and adulthood (these are: stiffness in the legs, increasing difficulty in walking, reduced manual dexterity, lack of coordination of the arms, speech difficulties, finally, the use of a wheelchair).

The dinner will also include a live auction to raise money for the cause.

Le Diner des Producteurs will be held on Thursday 29th November at:

Parquet de la Caisse de dépôt
et placement du Québec
Centre CDP Capital
1000, place Jean-Paul-Riopelle
