Last Sunday saw a number of current Spoon projects highlighted in a picturesque rash of Sunday supplements – Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Times, The Observer & The Independent on Sunday.
Petersham Nurseries owners Gael and Francesco Boglione invited Stella Magazine (The Sunday Telegraph) into their home for a sneak peak at how they go about Christmas entertaining. The feature was complete with beautiful images of their home fully decorated for Christmas and recipes for Boglione family favourites : Burrata with winter leaves, aged balsamic vinegar, chestnuts & pomegranate, roast partridge with red wine & juniper berries and Christmas tiramisu amongst the collection.
In this coming Sunday’s Stella magazine Gael will be sharing her New Year’s party tips along with further recipes and rooms decorated with the help of Petersham Nurseries creative director Ronny de Konig and extreme-florist Shane Connolly.
Bee Wilson covered another Spoon client in her column in Stella Magazine- Kitchen Thinker this weekend: Le Parfait. Our favourite preserving jars warranted a mention and delightful illustration as Bee has decided to use them as Christmas presents this year- filled with specially made mincemeat for mince pies. The Observer Food Monthly’s feature on what top chefs want for Christmas included Modernist Cuisine at Home, asked for by the recently Michelin starred- Hedone‘s chef patron, Mikael Jonsson. He’s a man of great taste.
The Sunday Times Style included a recipe from Bill Granger for Stir-Fried Asian-Style Brussels Sprouts are with a delicious difference. The recipe can be seen on The Sunday Times app.
And last but not least, Bill Granger’s weekly column appeared in The New Review magazine with The Independent on Sunday. This Sunday we’re due further Christmas inspiration in the form of cocktails and canapes.
