Big Table, Busy Kitchen is the sumptuous new cookbook from renowned chef and best selling food writer, Allegra McEvedy. A love letter through food both to her beloved mother (who died when Allegra was 17) and to her own young daughter, Delilah, the book is stuffed with timeless recipes and refreshingly honest motherly advice.

A few days after the book’s official launch date Allegra McEvedy will appear at The Richmond Literary Festival, a month long celebration of literary events throughout the borough. During a lively talk and recipe demonstration, Allegra will discuss the heartfelt story behind this landmark cookbook, and share her wry and witty observations about food, home, love and life. She’ll also be around to sign books afterwards, a lovely extra touch if you’re looking for a thoughtful gift.

Allegra’s talk and demonstration will be held at 7pm at The Bingham Hotel on Wednesday 13th November,  the ticket is priced at £15 and includes a glass of wine on arrival. Join us by purchasing your ticket here.
