The Michelin Guide’s 2015 review of Hedone described the Chiswick restaurant as producing ‘refined, immeasurably satisfying dishes where the combinations of flavours ooze personality’.

Reflecting that the restaurant continued to flourish and that it was Chef-Patron Mikael Jonsson’s lack of ‘complacency’ which was pushing the restaurant to continually evolve, Michelin again awarded Hedone with a coveted star. The restaurant has held a star since October 2012, a mere fourteen months after it had first opened.

The Michelin inspectors also commented on Chef Jonsson’s sourdough bread, ‘some of the finest you’ll find in the city’. In fact, several other Michelin starred chefs in London have now persuaded Mikael Jonsson to supply their restaurants with what Fay Maschler declared  ‘the best bread in Britain’.
